Abstract
A faulttolerant drive circuit for two phase hybrid stepping motor is designed. Although the hardware cost raises, the double Hbridge driving circuits have largely improved ability of permitting the mistakes by adding redundant bridge arm. This paper analyzes the topology of the main circuit in detail, and gives the block diagram of its normal operation. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme, the test bench is built with TI controller TMS320F28335. A part of function of the designed circuits is validated by the prototype.
